Lunchtime Arrangements

School lunches must be booked in advance from home using SCOPay online booking and payment system, before midnight for the following day (see attached guide). This will give parents and children the opportunity to select a meal choice ahead of the day. Lunches can be booked for the whole week or on an adhoc basis for example, if your child would like to have the roast that is offered on a Wednesday, you can book them in for this day only. For information, lunch accounts are required to be in credit for a lunch to be ordered.  Please see the attached letter below for codes used for ordering the various lunch choices via SCOPay.

Cancelling school lunch

The school meal service provides a range of choices within its daily menu and can cater for the needs of most children. The meals are cooked in our own kitchen to a very high standard. Menus are available for parents to view on the website under term menus. All menus meet the new National standards as required from September 2006. Twelve 15 have a nut free policy, use only free range eggs, fresh organic milk, certified sustainable fish and offer Halal chicken. We very pleased that our school kitchen has been awarded the silver Food for Life catering mark.

Key Stage 2

Meals can be purchased from the school meals service, or the children can bring a packed lunch.

Children who have school meals must be in credit on their account and paid online.

Packed lunches should be sent to school in a clearly marked lunchbox. Drinks must be in an unbreakable flask or carton with a suitable cup or straw to drink from. Please do not send in sweets or fizzy drinks and no cans or glass bottles. Please remember we are a NUT FREE school.

We actively promote the message of eating a good balanced diet through all our food related work in school. We hope that all parents will support this message in the choices provided within packed lunches. Guidance covering our approach to food in school forms part of our induction materials.
