Home Learning w/c 13.07.20

As this is our last week of term our home learning this week includes a maths mystery to solve and then YOU are the boss this week and are in control of your other activities.

Choose what you want to do and when you want to do it, but try to do a mixture of different coloured activities.

Most importantly, have fun doing them!

We wish you a very happy and healthy summer break.

We have really enjoyed teaching you all.

Ms. Bolden and Mrs. Walker.

This week will be the last full learning week of home learning. Next week is the last week of term and so the home learning will include some more fun activities.

Our home learning includes five daily maths and English activities and five additional tasks one per day in other subjects including outdoor learning and enriching activities.

This week there are two outdoor learning activities planned a mini beast hunt and tree faces out of clay. Do not worry if you don’t have clay I have included a salt dough recipe which will work just as well.

Once again, we have included a ‘suggested timetable’ that you might you want to follow, but there is no obligation to do this.

Please remember to upload either to portfolio or photograph and attach to your messages on ClassDojo at least 1 piece of work each week – We love hearing your other news too – any messages or photos on the Class Dojo is wonderful!

Our recovery curriculum for the children who have returned to school continues and our home learning is trying to run alongside what they are doing at school.

This week in addition to your five daily maths and English activities there are geography, French, PSHE and Art sessions.

Please don’t worry if you don’t complete it all. Perhaps try a maths practical activity instead!

PSHE this week is focusing on the positives that have come from Lockdown.

Home Learning w/c 22.06.20 - Week 9

Back at school, we are running a recovery curriculum for the children who have returned to school, planning shorter engaging and nurturing activities in order to rebuild their understanding of what it is to learn at school.

Our home learning is trying to run alongside what we are doing at school therefore it will still include 5 daily maths and English activities but the additional tasks one per day in Topic/Science and other subjects will have more outdoor learning and enriching activities.
